Why?

We’re glad you asked.

We Live Out Our Faith

We see a world of pain and suffering and believe that God has called us to do something about it. Design Outreach operates with the belief that all people are made in the image of God and should be valued and loved as our Creator values and loves us (see our Statement of Faith below). As followers of Jesus Christ, we desire to share and show God’s love by providing technologies that empower people to break the cycle of poverty.

We Value People

We believe that every person is made in the image of God and should have what they need to thrive. DO desires to serve the millions of people around the world whose basic needs are not being met. We love because Christ first loved us, and it is this love that motivates our work.

We Pursue Excellence

We strive to create solutions that lead to lasting change. To ensure the best possible results, we design and produce our products to high-quality standards. Focusing on human-centered design, we spend time on the front end of the development process to fully understand community needs and refine our solutions to meet those needs.

We Create By Collaboration

We believe that each person has a unique set of God-given talents and resources that are intended for good. The strong force of our skilled volunteers, implementing partners, community members, and staff all working together is what truly makes our technologies a life-sustaining reality for communities around the world.
